On Tuesday, the 37-year-old joined UN Refugee Chief Antonio Guterres to pay a visit to refugees in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley. According to the UN Refugee Agency, for which Jolie serves as a special envoy, the purpose of the trip was to demonstrate solidarity with Syrian refugees and pay tribute to the Jordanian government and people for their commitment to refugee protection.
